Actor and Comedian Maeve Press | "Everything is Going to Be OK" Freeform TV

Our guest today is the amazingly talented actor and comedian Mave Press. The 17-year-old actress plays Genevieve on the critically acclaimed Freeform series EVERYTHING’S GONNA BE OKAY. She has done some much at such a young age, and the future is nothing but bright! We covered all of this, her comedy career, early starts as a comedian, lessons learned, and what is next for her. Maeve is also a stand-up comedian and is the youngest comedian ever to perform at Boston's Women in Comedy Festival, NJ's Hoboken Comedy Festival and the Burbank Comedy Festival, where she was chosen for "Best of Fest.” Maeve debuted her one woman show, 'Dis(is)Respect' at the Speak Up Rise Up Festival in NYC. She made her Off Broadway debut at the iconic Public Theatre in the critically acclaimed play “Before Your Very Eyes."  

Maeve also starred in the Orlando Film Festival and Amsterdam Film Festival Award-winning indie film “Theresa Is a Mother” and the popular PSA “Why Can’t Girls Code." Maeve was profiled on NPR’s Here & Now and has performed stand up in clubs, alt rooms, bars, and basements throughout NYC, Boston, and Los Angeles. She’s influenced by Audrey Hepburn, Tig Notaro, Supergirl, Nina Simone, and other superheroes.
