PATRICK CARROLL CEO, one of Miami's most prominent real estate investors with over 30,000 properties in his portfolio held a local charitable donation event. The self-made tycoon gave away $100,000 worth of this season's most sought-after sneakers to underprivileged kids; Carroll commissioned famed sneaker aficionado, Ben Kickz, aka the Sneaker Don, to bring a Brinks truck filled with 600 pairs of high-end sneakers to distribute to members of Miami's Boys & Girls Club of Miami-Dade, a charity which Carroll serves on the board. Carroll’s celebrity friends RHOA Phaedra Parks, NFL Miami Dolphins Bryant McKinnie, below Deck’s Captain Lee, Dean Muhtadi WWE’s MoJo Rawlings and others were in attendance helping out.
The event was held at Hank Kline Club (2805 SW 32nd Ave.) Carroll’s passion for this project was due to similar childhood circumstances. Growing up in Fla, Carroll relied on The Boys & Girls Club and their facilities to play basketball. "Knowing firsthand how aspirational having the right pair of sneakers can be to a kid in need, I can't wait to see the looks in these kid's faces when we pull up in that truck," said the 43-year-old.
