With the help of longtime confidants President Joe Biden and Rabbi Michael Beals, in 2021, he launched a successful public advocacy effort to persuade the Israeli Ministry of Interior to recognize his right to make aliya and claim Israeli citizenship. Jared’s intersectional identities of being a Black, Jewish American-Israeli are of utmost importance to him and have significantly impacted his ethos surrounding social justice and advocacy for others.
