Coach Kennedy's Supreme Court case led to over 41 billion consumer impressions, he became a household name over his fight to pray and freedom of religion. Not many know how important his victory was for all religions in America, not just Christianity.
"What Coach Kennedy did and what the government might not want you to realize is that Lemon is dead, which means you now have more religious freedom than you had in the last 50 years. Where nativity scenes and menorahs were removed, they can come back out."
Now, the film about Coach Kennedy fighting for all Americans is now in theaters nationwide. AVERAGE JOE is based on the life of US Marine (ret.) and high school football coach Joseph Kennedy and details his fight for his marriage, job and religious freedom when all of the odds were stacked against him. Starring Eric Close ("Nashville," AMERICAN SNIPER, "Suits") and Amy Acker (ORDINARY ANGELS, "Person of Interest," "Alias"), and directed by Emmy Award winning Harold Cronk (GOD'S NOT DEAD, UNBROKEN: PATH TO REDEMPTION), this powerful movie serves as a tribute to the unwavering strength of faith and the human spirit.
