The CW’s "Kung Fu" is a reimagining of the 1970s series and is set in the present day with a female in the lead role. The new version has been lauded for being the first network drama with a predominantly Asian American cast.

Kee plays Russell Tan, a wealthy and powerful businessman who was introduced in the last few episodes in season 1, The upcoming season is built around the mystery of Russell Tan’s big plan. Throughout the season Nicky and team will work together to crack the mystery behind what he’s up to.

Born in Singapore and based in the US, Kee has made appearances in Mission: Impossible II, Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith and in the television mini-series, Moby Dick, opposite Sir Patrick Stewart. More recently he appeared in the 2018 sci-fi film, Mortal Engines.
