Joseph Becerra, the investigator from the New York State Police (now retired) who in the series details the convergence of the evidence that ultimately led Durst to justice. Becerra was in Los Angeles to interview Susan regarding the disappearance of Robert Durst’s wife, when he found out she was murdered, as Becerra believed Susan may have details that would link Durst to the murder of his wife.
